In Baku, a criminal shot and killed police officers using family members as cover

On June 24, in the village of Shuvalan, Khazar district of the capital, Allahverdiyev Rovshan Ogtay ogly, born in 1986, who was repeatedly convicted and put on the wanted list, offered armed resistance when detained by police officers, APA reports. According to joint information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General’s Office, hiding behind family members and taking advantage of the current situation, the man began shooting from a Lancaster hunting rifle, killing 3 police officers and one civilian.

R. Allahverdiev was liquidated by police officers. A criminal case has been opened into the matter, and investigative actions are ongoing.
