A criminal case has been opened into the misappropriation in the school

Based on the material received from the Shirvan-Salyan Regional Education Department, in connection with violations in secondary school No. 16 named after B. Aslanov in the city of Shirvan, the local prosecutor’s office conducted a preliminary investigation, oxu.az reports with reference to the supervisory authority. Thus, reasonable suspicions arose of misappropriation of more than 39,000 manats of state funds by fictitiously replacing the main teacher in the classroom, allegedly conducting extracurricular activities, organizing various clubs and other illegal means.

In connection with this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Articles 179.2.3 and 179.2.4 (embezzlement committed by a person using his official position with the infliction of significant damage) of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is underway.
