A criminal case has been initiated against officials of the housing department for the demolition of the house of a resident of Baku

The Yasamal District Prosecutor’s Office conducted an investigation based on information received about the illegal demolition of an apartment in the Yasamal district of the capital by officials of the housing department “İbrahim-Q”. As the prosecutor’s office of the Yasamal district told APA, serious suspicions of causing material damage on a large scale to Afet Guliyeva on June 30 as a result of abuse of powers by officials of the cooperative and the complete demolition of the house were revealed (address: Baku, Yasamal district, Alibey Huseynzade str., building 53, apt. .1) in a generally dangerous way, without her consent.

Based on this fact, the district prosecutor’s office is conducting a preliminary investigation, and a criminal case has been initiated under articles 186.2.1, 186.2.2 (deliberate destruction of property in a generally dangerous manner causing major damage) and 308.1 (abuse of official powers).
