Persons suspected of growing narcotic plants detained

In Goychay, police officers carried out operations against persons suspected of growing narcotic plants, Report informs citing the Sheki regional press service group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Thus, as part of the events, Aydin Zeynalov was detained. During an inspection of the garden plot at his place of residence, 24 hemp bushes and marijuana were discovered. On another fact, 53-year-old Mirkyazim Huseynov, who had been previously convicted several times, was detained. Hemp bushes were also found in the yard of his house.

The detainees said that they planted the narcotic plants several months ago and during this time provided them with agrotechnical care.

Criminal cases were initiated based on the facts, and the detainees were taken into custody by court decision.
