Chinese citizens who stole money and gold from house and wanted to leave Azerbaijan were arrested

On July 17, 2024 the police received information about the theft of a safe containing 130,000 US dollars and 700 grams of gold jewelry from one of the houses located in Saray settlement, Absheron region, the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan told APA.

As a result of the operational search measures, the citizens of the People’s Republic of China – V. Zhijian and V. Hongfu, who were suspected of committing theft, were identified and detained by police officers while trying to leave the country.
