State Border Service: Activity Report for July 2024

The State Border Service has published a report for July 2024, APA reports citing the State Border Service. In July of this year, over 336 kilograms of narcotic drugs and 6,486 drug-containing tablets, which are considered potent drugs, were identified and seized from circulation. Contraband worth a total of 3 million 388 thousand 199 manats was seized, including night vision devices, hunting rifles, cartridges, medicines, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.

During the specified month, 22 people were detained for violating the state border, including 13 citizens of Azerbaijan, 3 citizens of Pakistan, 2 citizens of Iran, 2 citizens of Morocco, 1 citizen of Turkey and 1 citizen of Bangladesh.
