Arrested on charges of embezzlement of state funds

Acting head of the financial service of the N-th corps of the Ministry of Defense Namig Mirzayev has been arrested by a court decision on charges of embezzlement of funds, Report informs. Thus, during the investigation, the State Security Service established Namig Mirzayev’s involvement in the embezzlement of state funds on an especially large scale in 2023-2024.

As part of the criminal case, Namig Mirzayev was charged under Article 179.4 (embezzlement on an especially large scale) of the Criminal Code.
