Former Director of music college put on wanted list
The case of former director of Agdam Music College Rafail Musayev, who was given a suspended sentence for accepting a large bribe, is at the appeal stage, oxu.az reports. The prosecutor is unhappy with the fact that the director, who committed a serious crime by accepting bribes from teachers and students’ relatives, remains free. For this reason, the prosecution filed an appeal against the verdict.
According to the information, the 70-year-old former director, for whom arrest is required, is hiding from the court. Although the accused participated in several previous hearings, he later stopped appearing in court. In this regard, the Ganja Court of Appeal decided to forcibly suspend the investigation. R. Musayev has been put on the wanted list. It is assumed that the former director is hiding from the court due to the prosecutor’s demand for his arrest.
