“Al Qaeda” has been fined

A New York Court made a decision requiring an international terrorist organization “Al Qaeda”, the Afghan radical movement “Taliban” and the Iranian government to pay 6 billions dollars in compensation to relatives of victims of terrorist attacks September 11, 2001.

According to the Associated Press, the court’s decision is purely symbolic, as it is not possible to received specified amount from the defendants. The decision was made as part of the proceedings on a suit that had been filed last year by family members of 47 victims of the terrorist attack.

It is relatively clear with “Al Qaeda” and “Taliban”, but why is Iran? Is it on the next?
