Reserve officer arrested

Former head of the fuel service of the N-th military unit of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, reserve lieutenant colonel Rustam Mammadli Agaly oglu has been arrested, Report informs citing the senior assistant to the military prosecutor, head of the press service of the Military Prosecutor’s Office Firad Aliyev.

According to him, the suspect in committing the relevant acts in the criminal case investigated by the Investigation Department of the Military Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan, Mammadli Rustam, has been charged under Articles 32.3, 179.3.2, 341.2.3., as well as other articles of the Criminal Code.

By the decision of the Baku Military Court, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen against him. The investigation is ongoing.
