Ministry of Internal Affairs: 35 kg of drugs seized from detained drug dealers

The Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted an operation during which 35 kg of narcotics were found and seized from three people, Report informs citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It is noted that members of the drug network were detained – previously convicted Khalig Huseynzade, Seymur Mammadli and Elshan Ganiyev. About 35 kg of marijuana enriched with psychotropic substances, as well as heroin, were found in their car and houses. During the investigation, the detainees reported that they purchased the drugs for the purpose of further sale.

A criminal case was opened on the fact, and the court decided to choose a preventive measure in the form of arrest for the three detainees.
