An attack was committed on a private house in the capital, a man who resisted the police was neutralized

On the night of September 3, the police received information from the owner of the house that an unknown person had attacked one of the private houses in the Sabunchu district of Baku, APA reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The suspect tried to escape, resisting the police officers with a stabbing and cutting object.

Ensuring the safety of the residents of the house, the police officers prevented the attacker’s attempt and neutralized him using their service weapons.

It was established that the suspect in the crime, Akhverdiyev Elshan Zaur oglu, born in 1999, was previously convicted of crimes related to intentional harm to health, illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.

An investigation is underway into the fact.
