The Chairman of the municipality arrested

A decision was made to arrest the Chairman of the Municipality of Diyalli village of Ismayilli district Jahangir Surkhayev, oxu.az reports. The Binagadi District Court chose a preventive measure in the form of arrest for a period of 4 months.

It is noted that J. Surkhayev was detained during an operation carried out by employees of the Main Department for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General. According to available information, the representative of the administrative-territorial district of the city of Ismayilli, Alisher Suleymanov, was also detained with him.
