Azerbaijani State Service: Number of cyberattacks on government agencies and citizens increased sharply
Recently, there has been a sharp increase in the number of cyberattacks targeting both government agencies and citizens. Criminals use all methods to gain unauthorized access to personal data, financial resources, and government information systems, APA reports citing the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security.
The State Service for Special Communications and Information Security carries out round-the-clock monitoring of electronic information resources of government agencies located in the information resource center, and also conducts audits of other electronic information resources and systems belonging to government agencies.
The Service strongly recommends that government agencies promptly eliminate gaps in audit reports, strictly adhere to security recommendations, and that citizens comply with cybersecurity rules.
