3 kg of opium seized from suspect in drug trafficking

Employees of the Beylagan District Police Department seized more than 3 kg of opium from a suspect in drug trafficking, Report informs with reference to the Barda regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Thus, operational activities were carried out on the basis of information received by the RPD.

It is noted that previously convicted Balamamed Abbasov, detained by law enforcement officers, admitted in his testimony that he received drugs through an Iranian citizen, the investigation is establishing his identity.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact, a preventive measure in the form of arrest has been chosen for the detainee.
