Military commissar arrested

The head of the Khojavend district department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription for Military Service of Azerbaijan has been arrested, Report informs citing the head of the press service of the Military Prosecutor’s Office, senior assistant to the military prosecutor, chief adviser to justice Firad Aliyev.

According to the information, within the framework of the criminal case, the investigation of which is ongoing in the Investigation Department of the Military Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan, the head of the Khojavend district department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription for Military Service, Major Aliyev Sadig Hasan oglu, was charged under Articles 311.3.2 and 311.3.3 of the Criminal Code.

Based on the petition of the Military Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan, by the decision of the Baku Military Court, a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of four months was chosen against S. Aliyev.

The investigation of the case is currently ongoing.
