The court issued a decision on the case of the former school director convicted of fraud of 300 thousand manats

The Baku Court of Appeal has completed a hearing on the appeal against the sentence of Samira Akbarova (born in 1966), who worked as a school director, oxu.az reports. The decision was announced at a trial chaired by Judge Gadim Babayev. The court did not satisfy the appeal.

S. Akbarova was charged under Article 178.3.2 (fraud committed with causing major damage) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Baku Court of Grave Crimes sentenced S. Akbarova to 7 years in prison. In addition, the civil claim brought against her was satisfied. The verdict instructs to confiscate 300,000 manats from the former director and transfer them to the victim.
