Gang of car thieves detained

Law enforcement agencies of the capital detained a gang of serial car thieves, minval.az reports with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Thus, the police received numerous complaints from victims about thefts from cars.

Employees of the 24th police station of the Nizami District Police Department carried out operational activities and detained suspects – previously repeatedly convicted Alik Bayalyev (30 years old), Fikret Iskenderov (27 years old), Murad Heydarov (25 years old) and Farid Hammedli (25 years old). This criminal group is responsible for more than 20 thefts from cars in different areas of Baku.

Some of the crimes were recorded by CCTV cameras. A criminal case has been opened on the facts
