Opening ceremony of COP29 Leaders’ Summit held in Baku

The opening ceremony of the Leaders’ Summit of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) was held in Baku on November 2.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and UN Secretary-General António Guterres met the heads of state and government, as well as the heads of delegations participating in the Summit.
