Man arrested for possession of 4 kg of drugs

A man has been arrested in Barda for possession of 4 kg of marijuana, Report informs citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a result of an operation conducted by the Barda District Police Department, previously convicted Magerram Ismailzade, suspected of illegal drug trafficking, was detained. During an inspection of his place of residence, about 4 kg of marijuana were found.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact, and a preventive measure in the form of arrest has been chosen for Ismailzade. The investigation is ongoing.
