The charges against the Karabakh separatists have been revealed, this was noted in the information released by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the referral of the criminal case of Karabakh separatists detained in Baku to court, APA reports.
Based on the collected reliable evidence, 15 people – Ghukasyan (Ghukasyan) Arkadi Arshavir (Arshavirovich), Harutyunyan Arayik Vladimiri (Vladimirovich), Sahakyan Bako Sahaki, Ishkhanyan Davit Ruben, Babayan Davit Klim (Klimovich), Mnatsakanyan Lyova Henrikh, Manukyan Davit Azat, Martirosyan Garik Grigor, Pashayan Melikset Vladimir, Allahverdiyan Davit Nelson, Stepanyan Gurgen Homerosi, Balayan Levon Romik, Babayan Madat Arakeli (Arakelovich), Beglaryan Vasili Ivan and Ghazaryan Erik Robert, who were accused of crimes committed by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and illegal armed formations in a total of 2548 episodes, were charged with the following offenses: 100 (planning, preparing, initiating and waging an aggressive war), 102 (attacking persons or organizations enjoying international protection), 103 (genocide), 105 (extermination of population), 106 (slavery), 107 (deportation or forcible transfer of population), 109 (persecution), 110 (enforced disappearance of persons), 112 (deprivation of liberty contrary to international law), 113 (torture), 114 (mercenary), 115 (violation of the laws and customs of war), 116 (violation of international humanitarian law in armed conflict), 118 (military robbery), 120 (wilful killing), 192 (illegal entrepreneurship), 214 (terrorism), 214-1 (financing of terrorism), 218 (creation of a criminal association (organization)), 228 (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale of weapons, their components, ammunition, explosives and devices, storage, transportation and transportation), 270-1 (acts threatening aviation safety), 277 (assassination of a state official or public figure), 278 (forcible seizure and retention of power, forcible change of the constitutional structure of the state), 279 (creation of armed formations and groups not provided for by law) and other articles, each of whom was re-involved as a defendant, and their rights to defense, use of the language they know, and other procedural rights were ensured.
