Persons who stole 127 thousand manats from a car arrested

On December 16, at about 11:00 a.m. in the village of G.Z. Tagiev, two unknown persons stopped a Chevrolet car belonging to one of the companies, deceived the driver, used force against him and stole 127,298 manats from the car, APA reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a result of operational activities carried out by police officers in the city of Sumgayit, suspects in the theft of funds were detained – 38-year-old Rukhid Farajev and 36-year-old Samir Gasimov. According to the investigation, the suspects knew that there was money in the car. A criminal case was opened in the Sumgayit City Police Department on the fact.

A preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen against R. Farajev and S. Gasimov. The investigation is ongoing.
