In Azerbaijan, 59 foreigners detained for drugs in 10 months of this year

In 10 months of this year, 6,693 people were brought to criminal responsibility for illegal drug trafficking, APA reports, citing the permanent working group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.

It is reported that in 10 months of this year, out of 59 foreign citizens brought to criminal responsibility, 25 were citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran, 10 were citizens of Russia, 13 were citizens of Turkey, 7 were citizens of Georgia, 1 was citizen of Uzbekistan, 2 were citizens of Ukraine, and 1 was citizen of the United Arab Emirates.
