Person convicted of selling a device to an applicant to violate exam rules

A person who sold a device to an applicant to violate exam rules has been convicted in Azerbaijan, APA reports citing the State Examination Center.

Thus, during the entrance exams in July 2023, a special transmitting device (a Mifi device, earphones, a telephone, a camera) was found on one exam participant during an inspection at the entrance to the building. After the applicant was suspended from taking the exam, these devices were handed over to law enforcement agencies, and as a result of the investigation, the person who organized the sale of these devices was brought to criminal responsibility. It was established that his social media pages posted appeals to exam participants and offered to sell prohibited earphones.

This person has already been brought to justice under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code and sentenced to 3 years of restricted freedom.
