More than 70 million manats from agricultural exports returned to Azerbaijan

As a result of investigative measures, the prosecutor’s office ensured the return of another 41.3 million US dollars from the sale of agricultural products abroad to the bank accounts of Azerbaijan, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

Based on the data of the State Customs Committee on the failure to return foreign exchange earnings by some business entities exporting various products abroad, the prosecutor’s office has initiated several criminal cases, for which a preliminary investigation is underway.

As a result of measures taken by the prosecutor’s offices of Agdash, Kurdamir, Astara, Ujar, Absheron, Khachmaz, Beylagan, Khizi, Sabirabad, Goranboy, Agstafa districts and the city of Mingachevir, 41.3 million dollars (more than 70.2 million manat at the exchange rate of the corresponding period) have been returned to authorized bank accounts in Azerbaijan.
