Persons detained for committing fraud in the amount of over 41 thousand manats

In Baku and Sumgait, a fraud in the amount of over 41,000 manats was committed against citizens, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Police officers detained 42-year-old A. Gasimov, 48-year-old R. Aliyev and 50-year-old E. Veliyev, suspected of fraudulently appropriating 24,000 manats from a Baku resident and 12,000 manats from another person. In Sumgait, 42-year-old N. Abdullayeva and 26-year-old S. Abdullayev were detained, suspected of fraudulently appropriating 5,500 manats.

An investigation is underway into these facts.
