Police seized 11 kg of drugs

Employees of the Lankaran city district police department detained 33-year-old Turgut Nagiyev, suspected of organizing illegal drug trafficking, oxu.az reports with reference to information from the regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 11 kg of marijuana enriched with psychotropic substances were found and seized from him.

It turned out that T. Nagiyev purchased the drug from an Iranian citizen, whose identity is being established by the investigation. A criminal case has been opened on this fact, and a preventive measure in the form of arrest has been chosen for the detainee.

An investigation is underway on this fact.
