Last year, 88 percent of 14,925 registered crimes were solved in Baku.
As APA reports, this was stated at an extended operational meeting chaired by Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev, dedicated to discussing the state of affairs carried out by the Baku city prosecutor’s office in the field of combating crime, investigative work, prosecutorial supervision during 2024, and upcoming tasks.
It was noted that during 2024, preliminary investigations were conducted in the Baku city prosecutor’s office of 649 criminal cases, of which 194 were completed and sent to the relevant courts for consideration.
