Return of 92.4 million manats received from agricultural exports to Azerbaijan ensured
Efforts to return funds received from agricultural exports to Azerbaijan are ongoing. This was stated in a statement by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, APA reports.
“Based on the materials received from the State Customs Committee in connection with the return of funds in the relevant currency to Azerbaijan from some business entities exporting various types of products to foreign countries, criminal cases have been initiated in the prosecutor’s office and a preliminary investigation is underway. To date, as a result of the measures taken by the prosecutor’s offices of the Nizami, Garadagh and Binagadi districts of Baku, more than 54.4 million US dollars (at the rate of over 92.4 million manats) in funds received from the sale of agricultural products exported abroad by some business entities have been returned to the authorized bank account,” the statement says.
