In Azerbaijan, 216 criminal groups were neutralized in 2024

In Azerbaijan, 3,271 people who committed serious and especially serious crimes were detained in 2024, 216 criminal groups were neutralized, Report informs, citing a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dedicated to the results of last year.

The department notes an improvement in the statistics of detection of minor crimes in 2024. According to the results of last year, the detection rate for such crimes was 87.5%, which is 3 percentage points higher than the year before.
