Internet fraudster who promised citizens income from investments detained

Law enforcement agencies detained a 33-year-old resident of Baku who was engaged in fraud on social networks. As the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Report, the detainee is Magerram Agarzayev, who embezzled 2 thousand manats from a resident of the Agsu district, promising him income from investments.

The offender carried out his criminal activities through the Remax channel, which he created in the Telegram messenger.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact, and full compensation for material damage to the victim has been ensured. Investigative actions in the case are ongoing.
