State Prosecutor: During the 44-day war, movable and immovable property suffered damage in the amount of over 187 million manats

In total, during the 44 days of the Patriotic War, movable and immovable property in state and private ownership in the cities of Ganja and Mingechevir, Terter, Aghdam, Barda, Aghjabedi, Fizuli, Goranboy (Naftalan), Beylagan, Jebrail, Kurdamir and Gabala regions suffered material damage in the amount of over 187 million manats. As Report informs, this was stated by State Prosecutor Tarana Mammadova at a court hearing on the case of persons of Armenian origin accused of war crimes against Azerbaijan.
It was noted that on April 2-6, 24, 26-28 and 30, 2016, as a result of shelling from large-caliber and other firearms in the Aghdam region, 3 civilians were deliberately killed and 13 civilians received bodily injuries of varying severity, in the Terter region 3 civilians were deliberately killed and 11 civilians received bodily injuries of varying severity, in the Goranboy region 4 civilians, in the Fizuli region 1 civilian, in the Aghjabedi region 1 civilian received bodily injuries of varying severity. In total, 6 civilians were deliberately killed, 30 civilians were attempted to be killed by causing bodily injuries of varying severity, and material damage in the amount of more than 2.4 million manats was caused by full or partial destruction, burning and damage to 733 real estate objects.
