In Azerbaijan, 58 men became victims of gender-based violence in 2024

In Azerbaijan, 58 men were subjected to gender-based violence in 2024, Report informs. Such data is contained in the annual report of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs.

In total, 330 calls were received by the hotline on gender-based violence last year, of which 272 were from women and 58 were from men. 205 applicants came from Baku, 125 from the regions.

Of those who applied, 137 were married, 140 were single, and 53 were divorced.
