Appeal Court’s decision on defendants in armed attack on hypermarket in Baku

The trial in connection with the appeal against the verdict of defendants in the armed attack on the Bravo hypermarket has ended, Oxu.Az reports. The Baku Court of Appeal rejected the appeal, leaving the verdict of the court of first instance unchanged.

By the decision of the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, Dayanat Gudratov was sentenced to life imprisonment. His accomplices also received long prison terms: Azer Mammadov and Ibrahim Ibrahimov – 19 years each, Sabuhi Gurbanov – 18 years and 6 months.

Two other defendants in the case, who were under a written undertaking not to leave, were arrested in the courtroom. Rovshan Ismayilov was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 4 years, 11 months and 28 days, and Babek Iskenderov was sentenced to 3 years, 11 months and 28 days.
