10 kg of drugs brought from Iran seized

10 kg of drugs smuggled from Iran for sale in Baku have been found in Lerik district, Report informs, citing the Lankaran regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the police, two suspects have been detained – Zulfugar Suleymanov and Mukhammed Nagiyev, who tried to deliver drugs to the capital. They were found to have 10 kg of marijuana received from an Iranian citizen, whose identity is being established.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact, an investigation is underway.
