27 kg of drugs seized from illegal circulation

During another operation conducted by the Main Directorate for Combating Drugs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 27 kg of drugs were found. As reported by Oxu.Az, this was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the information, during the activities carried out on the basis of the information received, it was established that Avaz Huseynov, at the suggestion of an Iranian citizen, whose identity is being established by the investigation, purchased drugs in the Fizuli district for delivery to Baku and was detained in the Sabunchu district of the capital. During the search, 18 kg 500 g of marijuana with especially harmful substances in its composition were found in his car.

As a result of further operational activities, another drug courier, Muslim Yagubov, was detained in the Khazar district. 7 kg 500 g of marijuana with the addition of harmful substances and 1 kg 150 g of methamphetamine were found in his rented apartment.

Criminal cases have been opened on these facts, and the court has decided to impose a preventive measure in the form of arrest on the detainees.
