Persons suspected of cyber fraud detained

Employees of the Guba District Police Department detained previously convicted persons Khafiz Hajiyev and Madat Aliyev, who are suspected of stealing a citizen’s money using cyber methods on the Telegram social network, as well as converting it into cryptocurrency and transferring it outside the country, Oxu.Az reports.

During the investigation, it was established that these persons fraudulently appropriated 9,055 manats belonging to the victim.

A criminal case was opened on this fact, and the court decided to impose a preventive measure in the form of arrest on these persons.
