Azerbaijani border guards prevented smuggling of goods worth 16 million manats in February

Smuggling of goods worth 16 million manats was prevented on the state border of Azerbaijan in February of this year, Report informs citing the State Border Service (SBS).

According to the agency, border guards managed to seize 20 9 mm cartridges, medicines, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.

In addition, in the course of the fight against illegal drug trafficking, SBS officers confiscated 155 kg 193 g of narcotic substances, 191 narcotic tablets and 105 liters of a liquid substance with potent narcotic components.
