Drugs worth 39 million manats have been seized in Azerbaijan since the beginning of 2025

In January-February 2025, narcotic and psychotropic substances worth 39.045 million manats were seized from illegal circulation in Azerbaijan.

As reported by Report, this was stated by the State Commission for Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.

According to the data, 1 ton 461.2 kg of narcotic and psychotropic substances were confiscated during the reporting period, including 1 ton 269.3 kg of marijuana, about 103 kg of heroin, 32.8 kg of opium, 13.3 kg of hashish, 4.1 kg of other narcotic substances and about 38.7 kg of psychotropic substances.
