A person who wanted to take the post of the head of the Executive Authority became a victim of fraud

In Baku, a man who wanted to take the post of the head of the district Executive Authority (EA) became a victim of fraud. He gave 62-year-old Akif Guliyev 20,000 manats out of the agreed 400,000 manats, but later realized that he had been deceived.
As Oxu.Az reports with reference to musavat.com, this is not the first crime of the accused. Previously, he was twice held accountable for similar acts and is currently serving a sentence for theft.
According to the information, another scam of A. Guliyev was revealed after his arrest. This time, he promised an acquaintance named Arzuman to help him appoint him to the post of the head of the Executive Authority of the Dashkesan district, stating that this would require 400,000 manats. Arzuman gave him 20,000 manats, but, not having received what he promised, he contacted law enforcement agencies. During the trial, audio recordings were presented as evidence, in which A. Guliyev confesses to the crime.
