Sentence passed on individuals accused of treason

The trial of Arif Rasulov and Elnur Rasulov, accused of treason, has ended, Oxu.Az reports. The verdict was read out at the trial chaired by Judge Aygun Gurbanova in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes.

By the court’s decision, both defendants were found guilty in the criminal case and sentenced to 15 years in prison in a strict regime colony.

A. Rasulov and E. Rasulov were charged under Article 274 (treason) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The defendants were arrested as a result of a special operation by the State Security Service (SSS).
