Deputy Minister of Transport and Roads of the Samara region Stanislav Balboshin dismissed because of he had not reported on his wife business, said the Prosecutor General office of the Russian Federation. During the inspection was found that Balboshin’s spouse is a director of “Sputnik” company, which deals with parking, maintenance and repair of vehicles.

Balboshin did not notify the authorities about the possibility of a conflict of interest on the position, which is contrary to the law “On Combating Corruption”. The prosecutor’s office believed that a profile of his work directly or indirectly assisted a business development success of his spouse.

In his defence Balboshin said that he did not live with his spouse about a year and nothing knew about her business.
