Tortures on a party lists

In Sabunchi court of Baku is nearing completion of the criminal trial against Elnur Alyev and three other persons accused of resisting the authorities.

Three of the four interrogated witnesses at the trial, as well as the defendants stated that they had experienced during the investigation to torture, cruel and inhuman treatment.

The fourth witness said he had experienced an illegal psychological impact but had not been beaten since warned the police that he was a member of the ruling party and native of a smithy of the party and economic cadres of Azerbaijan – Nakhchivan.
