The Federal Anti-monopoly Service of the Russian Federation presented the amendments to the law “On the Burial and Funeral”, according to which the Russians will lose an opportunity to choose a comfortable place in the municipal cemeteries: a place for burial now will be allocated strictly in order queue.

In the opinion of Paul Ulanov, an executive director of the Union of funeral organizations and crematory, an order of distribution of the plots under burial is eradicated a bribery in obtaining space in a cemetery.“It is about to provide a place in the cemetery, in accordance with a certain sequence”, – said Ulanov. “This will allow avoiding situation when by bribery will be able to get a more convenient location, for example, next to the exit, or located on a hill”, quotes pasmi.ru.
