Fools and roads, embezzlers and thieves

Analyzing the cost of roads in the world, in his article “The fools, roads and … again fools” an author of the portal “Echo of Moscow” Leonid Storch comes to conclusion that the most expensive roads are in Azerbaijan, reports the “Zerkalo”.

“As recently revealed, the most expensive road is not in Russia, in Azerbaijan. In this sunny republic 1 km of the road costs of 18 million dollars, i.e. on 500,000 more than in the Russian Federation” – the author writes.

According to him, it is the only thing that Russians still are comforting. The author notes that in countries such as the U.S., Finland, Canada, China, 1 km of the road is much cheaper. So, if in Azerbaijan 1 km of a road costs of 18 million dollars, and in Russia 17.6 million dollars., then in the USA – 5.9 million., Finland – 3.5 million., Canada – 2 ,4-6, 9 million., China – 2.2 million dollars.
