Human rights activists and journalists ask for project

Under supporting of the European Commission (EU government) are starting a new project for the protection of women and children affected by violence. As reported Salamnews the State Committee for Family, Women and Children, the project will be implemented jointly with the Committee of the United Nations Population Fund, the International Organization for Migration and the Azerbaijan Lawyers Confederation.

In one of the centers of support for victims of violence, operating in the region, will be launched a pilot project. In this project, will be used international practice in order to provide rehabilitation assistance to victims and potential victims of violence, carried out their defense. The project will be implemented within two years.

Group of human rights activists and journalists in Azerbaijan requested to prepare a similar project in concerning to their groups. At least for a year.
