Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina condemned the Khojaly genocide
Press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan reported that the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina (People’s Chamber of the Parliamentary Assembly) adopted a resolution “On recognition and respect for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.”
Along with recognition and respect for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, the resolution called for implementation of resolutions 822, 853, 874 and 884 of the UN Security Council and the immediate, complete and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian forces from the occupied territories.
The resolution condemns the ethnic cleansing during the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, and particularly crimes against humanity – the mass murder of the national and ethnic civilian population of Khojaly, and expresses its condolences to the families of the victims.
The document welcomes Azerbaijan’s efforts to create conditions for the restoration of its territorial integrity and the elimination of threats and challenges to regional and international security.
