According to jam.az, it is begun a campaign of the mass deportation of Azerbaijanis from Russia. The site informs that official Moscow has appointed the deadline to depart of our compatriots from Russia. Thus, one Azerbaijanis who came from Moscow said that the authorities gave them deadline till 10 June. Otherwise, they will be deported.

An author of this article writes that this strict decision is caused by becoming heated relations between two countries. Deportation of the Azerbaijanis is used by Moscow as a method of pressure on Baku that can be a problem for official Baku on eve of presidential elections.
