Checking on corrupt ties

Investigative Committee of Russian Federation will check the actions of officials and employees of regulatory and law enforcement bodies to the presence of corrupt ties with the organization of trade in the markets of Moscow.

This is said an official representative of the Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin, ITAR-TASS reported. “In order to identify the corrupt ties with the organization of trade in the markets, the Investigative Committee leadership was instructed to carefully check the legality of the decisions on not instituted criminal cases involving wrongful acts or omissions of law enforcement and regulatory agencies, local government officials.

This applies not only to the markets of Moscow, inspections will be organized throughout the whole country”, – he said. “Citizens who are faced with illegal actions of officials in the allocation of trading places, the facts of extortion in the exercise of business activities in markets may apply to the Investigative Committee through the territorial investigative bodies”, – said the representative of the IC.

In the course of criminal investigations related to an incident on the market “Matveevskiy”, “on the eve, searches were conducted in the administration office, residential apartments of a manager and employees of the market, as well as the offices and residence of officers of the law enforcement body in the region Ochakovo- Matveevskoe of Moscow”. During the searches were seized objects and documents related to the criminal case. Investigators MDI of the IC of Russia in Moscow are carried out a complex of other investigative actions to promptly conduct a full comprehensive investigation to establish all persons involved in the commission of these crimes, and to give their actions an objective legal assessment”, – said Vladimir Markin.
