Detained for blackmailing

In Alat settlement of Garadagh district of Baku are detained persons blackmailing a man by the videotape of his conflict with his wife. According to 1news.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, a resident of Alat settlement Ramil Agayev appealed to 11th police station of the Garadagh Police district.

In a statement, R. Agayev wrote that he is being blackmailed by the villagers A. Gayibov and I. Ibrahimov, who secretly filmed his conflict with his wife on a cell phone camera. They require for the tape-record AZN 500, otherwise threatened to extend it to social networks on the Internet.

Police conducted search operations this incident, in which A. Gayibov and Ibrahimov were caught in the act – when they were getting up 500 manat from R. Agayev.

The phone with tape-record was seized. An investigation of this case is going on.
